A special traditional coffee shop “The house of Polios” which someone encounters in the village of “Asteri” Arkadi. There the customers can enjoy the traditional products and visit the folklore museum.

The museum is a traditional Cretan house of seven rooms housing textiles, old photographs, reception rooms, etc. The traditional coffee house has a yard where someone can see tools of traditional professions.

The cafe is created by George Polioudakis who believes that “visitors are aware of the Cretan tradition and lifestyle of the Cretans”.
